The Talking Drum derives its name from its ability to change pitch by squeezing its exterior rope framework. As the player squeezes the rope, the tension on the head increases, thus raising the pitch. Made of durable, light-weight Linden hardwood with two 9" natural skin heads, and 18" high. Stretch resistant rope. Mallet included.
